Many describe this game as a player-driven economy, but we prefer to talk about its creativity, exploration, and thrilling battles. We’re basically talking about a whole world that you can craft to your own tastes and call it home. Sound good? Of course it does! And that’s why Albion Online has been crowned as Game of the Week!
If you usually follow our weekly gaming articles, you have probably realized that we’re big fans of massive worlds. Last week’s The Witcher showed us that, thanks to augmented reality, we can combine the best of our Android devices and the real world around us. In Albion Online on the other hand, we can lose ourselves in the fantasy of this massive open world, where you're able to test yourself against other adventurers. There are a lot of items in the game, like armors and weapons, and most of them have been crafted by players. The same goes with buildings (you’ll be amazed by these). And that’s why gathering resources is so crucial in Albion Online, as you can build items using these different pieces, and then sell them to grow a fortune!
The battles in Albion Online involve a lot of strategy, and that’s why you’ll need to work hard on your crafting (and gathering) skills. The options are numerous, from 5v5 to 20v20, and of course, you can join a guild with other players to further your conquest of unknown territories. Each city (or private island) you conquer will make your empire even more powerful, since you can use these territories to grow crops and raise your own livestock. As you can see, the options are endless!
One of the things we like the most about Albion Online is that it’s a true cross-platform game, so you can play it on PC or take it everywhere on your Android. Ready to prove what you’re capable of? Download Albion Online now and let us know what you think in our social media channels!
