We know you were probably expecting to see another amazing game here, right? But these entertaining titles need a platform to run: Android! Our favorite operating system has announced what the latest update, Android 11, is going to bring us. Want to know more? Just read below!
Multitasking is a highly valued skill, and it’s something Android users have been bragging about in contrast to iOS users since forever. With Android 11, you’ll be able to answer messages in a much quicker and more comfortable way. Just swipe down from the top of the notifications bar to see your new messages more prominently, and you can just reply straight away without opening the app! It seems this feature will be available with most popular messaging apps, such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, WeChat, etc).
Many of us already have this ability from the OEMs features, but now it seems we’ll have a built-in feature to record everything that happens on our screen. This tool will be especially useful for gamers, YouTubers, and influencers, and we believe it should have been integrated AGES ago!
We already covered the news about the dark mode feature in Aptoide, and it seems that Google has finally realized that users really want this feature. Although in Android 10 you can enable dark mode as a default for all apps, in Android 11 you can go one step further and schedule dark mode activation at a custom time. We love freedom of choice!
Handling notifications is something that we all struggle with (both app users and creators). The result has often been to automatically dismiss notifications as soon as they arrive on our screen; we don’t even think about it. With Android 11, we’ll have a history of all the notifications we’ve received in the last 24 hours, so we don’t miss anything important.
As with every Android update, the big question now is which phones are going to receive it first. Let’s just keep an eye on the latest news to see how OEMs plan to deploy this. Stay tuned!
